"The R di M Chianti Classico is simply gorgeous in the glass. There is a rush of morello cherry and ripe plum from the glass around which is wreathed nuances of dry earth, cedar, fresh mint, and sweet Virginia tobacco. The palate is disarmingly fresh, possesses textured tannins, and alternates between subtlety and vibrancy on the long close. One charming feature of the structure is the alluring, darker shaded opening palate immediately followed by a rush of sweet, almost glossy fruit carried on a glorious crest of mouth-watering acidity. We ride this wave through dark cherries, Mediterranean herbs, terracotta, and saline minerality towards the finish. Complexifying aromatic notes of myrtifolia linger." — David
