"This wine's charm stems from Cooper making a point of difference to his more serious Old Vine offering: this is supple, fresh, and a little bit more fun. Open for business on first pour with medicinal cherry, broken schist rock, bay leaves, and hints of blood orange. The wine is a limpid ruby with faint touches of garnet, almost jewel like in the light. Lighter bodied, bracing acidity, and sneakily firm yet fine-grained tannins: a structural light red if there ever was one. Further red cherry along with blood plum skins, dried herb/garrigue, mineral touches. Just lovely." - David
