"Fresh and mineral in profile, this Amber Wine possesses a vivacious bouquet of tart apricot, mandarin and pomelo, and hints of star fruit. Inflections of wet limestone, un-fired terracotta, dried herbs, and rock salt add intrigue and complexity … though, I admit, it is difficult to think too hard about this wine. The palate is an utter delight. Emerging, slyly, slightly softer in texture and richer in profile than one would expect from the aromas. Fully ripe peach and apricot, tangelo, and savoury herbs are wrapped in those delightful mineral nuances; hints of dried versions of the same stone fruits bring spice and concentration. The finish is enjoyably high toned, fresh and moreish, with repeating salinity and herbaceousness on the close. One not to think too hard about!" — David
