"Chiselled and precise aromatically, the 2023 Muscadet 'Fief Seigneur' from Michel Delhommeau unwinds in the glass with an estuarine and saline nose focusing on preserved lemon rind, green and yellow apples, and pithy melon rind hints all trimmed by light crustacea scents and struck flint. The palate is creamily texture, akin to pacific oysters, with a steely mineral edge that follows bright acidity and shell-like minerality. Lemon and lime curds, bitter lemon, quinine, and early season pear.
