"Pours mid ruby-garnet with light bricking on the rim. Sediment apparent. Slightly ragged aroma with bruised red and black fruits gaining definition with time in the glass. Complexity also emerges with time: old furniture/Victorian cedar, spicebox, graphite, and campfire ash all present. Cherry, cassis, and some blackberry with light minerality, cigar leaf, loam, and truffle. Lovely mature claret in the zone. Tasted: December 2024" - David
