"Pouring a subtle orange-onion skin in the glass, a nod perhaps to Clos Cibonne, this premium 100% Shiraz Rose offering from Charles Oliver leaps to the elect pinnacle of Australian exemplars. Subtle aromas of strawberry, balsamic, dried herbs, bran and cedar, and blood orange waft gently from the glass. High toned notes of menthol and eucalypt add complexity and freshness. 

Aeration brings firmness. What marks this wine is the extremely beautiful and singular texture: almost impossibly silken, soft and caressing, with beautifully integrated tannins and phenolics fully integrated, and a slight crescendo of acidity towards the lingering and pure finale.
